Seven Steps to Success |
Step 1: Initial Inquiry
When you contact me, I'll provide a brief description of my services, philosophies, methodology, and fee structures. I'll direct you to my web site or mail you an introductory packet to help you learn more. If my services appear to fit your needs, we'll schedule a "Get Acquainted Meeting." You review the introductory materials, or visit my web site to learn more, and then contact me for Step 2.
|
Step 2: Get Acquainted Meeting
The complimentary Get Acquainted Meeting is an opportunity for us to exchange information about your needs and objectives and further discuss which services are right for you. I will also provide an estimated fee quote. When you decide to engage my services, I will give you a list of additional information needed to begin formulating your financial plan. Upon signing the Service Agreement, a deposit of $500 or one-half of the estimated fee, whichever is higher, is due.
|
Step 3: Data Gathering and Initial Preparation
When I receive your information, I begin to review and develop your financial plan. I prepare initial reports and identify additional information needed. In Step 3, you gather the data requested (including possibly, a cash flow worksheet and risk tolerance questionnaire). You may fax or mail this information to me.
|
Step 4: Interactive Goal Setting and Data Verification
As I review and analyze your situation, I discuss and clarify the information you have provided thus far. To do this, I may contact you by phone, fax, e-mail, and regular mail or ask you to come in for a meeting. You provide any additional information requested and further clarify your current situation, financial goals and objectives. You present any additional questions or concerns you may have.
|
Step 5: Analysis and Plan Formulation
I edit the initial information, as needed, and run additional scenarios, if applicable. I then conclude the research and analysis, and produce final reports for your personal financial plan, adding my observations and recommendations. As we move into Step 5, I will call you, and you simply schedule a meeting for the presentation of your plan. |
Step 6: Financial Plan Presentation
In Step 6, I present and review your personal financial plan with you. We discuss all reports and I provide you with a written summary of observations and specific recommendations. At this point you will hold a personalized blueprint, custom designed to meet your financial goals. Full payment of the balance of actual fees incurred is due at the conclusion of our plan presentation meeting. |
Step 7: Plan Implementation and Follow-Up
Proper implementation is crucial to reaching your financial goals. Whether you implement and monitor the plan yourself, or contract with me to assist you, I urge prompt action.
